A set of four square note cards, each featuring a hand-drawn illustration from my Riding of the Bounds collection — Berwick-upon-Tweed's centuries-old tradition of riding the town's ancient boundaries every May.

The set includes four scenes from the day: riders gathering at the Barracks, the official send-off from the Guildhall, the gallop, and the lunchtime stop. Blank inside, they're perfect for writing a note to someone who loves Berwick, giving as a gift alongside one of the prints, or simply keeping as a small collection of illustrations in their own right.

A portion of the proceeds from every sale is donated to the Berwick Riders Association, helping to keep this extraordinary tradition going.

Inspiration and Values

Sustainability is important to me and I source all of my square note cards from an ethical and environmentally-responsible, UK-based company. I don’t use any plastic in my packaging and there’s always a little extra something in your order as a thank you for supporting my small business.

A percentage of my profits goes to support a number of local charities that look after our built and natural environment here in North Northumberland.

Practical information

Each card measures 15cm x 15cm / 150mm x 150mm, and comes with a recycled kraft envelope.

The pack of x4 cards is wrapped in tissue paper and then packaged in a 100% recycled plastic mailing bag, which features an extra adhesive strip so that you can use it for sending something, too!

All papers, packaging and stickers are recyclable and/or made from recycled materials.
