Booking Terms & Conditions

Coostie Illustration & Design is owned and operated by Ali Edwards, an independent illustrator and designer.

By booking an event or workshop via the www.coostie.co.uk website you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms and conditions [the Terms of Use” or “The Agreement”].

These terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the law of England and Wales.

Coostie Illustration & Design may change these terms at any time by posting changes online. Please review these terms regularly to ensure you are aware of any changes. Your continued use of this site after changes are posted means you agree to be legally bound by these terms as updated and/or amended.

General Terms

  • You must be 18 years of age or older or you will be able to enter into a legally binding contract to purchase products or services or book for events and workshops via this site.

Booking Terms and Conditions

  • Bookings for Coostie Illustration & Design events and workshops are made by:

    • going to the relevant workshop booking page, which includes information about the event time and date, venue, learning outcomes, participant packs, and price, etc.

    • clicking 'add to cart'

    • adding personal and financial details to complete the transaction. Fee payments can be made with all major credit cards and Apple Pay, via the secure STRIPE payment provider.

    • all workshops and events are priced in GBP£ and do not include VAT (as we are not a VAT-registered business).

    • once payment has been received, you will be sent a booking receipt and then an email containing your joining instructions, with everything you need to know to participate in the event or workshop.

    2. You can book for more than one workshop at a time, or book for more than one person. If you are booking for yourself and additional participants, please make a note of this in the 'Notes' box at checkout. I may follow-up by email to confirm details, where relevant.

    3. Cancellations.

    • On the occasion of Coostie Illustration & Design unavoidably cancelling an event, all monies will be refunded to the participant.

    • On the occasion of a participant cancelling their attendance at an event, the following shall apply:

      • if said cancellation occurs 14 days or more before the event, all monies shall be refunded

      • if said cancellation occurs between 14 days and 48 hours before the event, 50% of the monies shall be refunded

      • if less than 48 hours' notice of cancellation is given, all monies are non-refundable.

5. Gift vouchers can be used to purchase a place at events and workshop as long as the value of the voucher is equal to/more than the booking fee. Contact me directly to book for a class/workshop if you wish to exchange a voucher to cover the booking fee.
