Inspiration and Values

This set of cards features five birds found on the North Northumberland coast: Brent Geese, Arctic Terns, a Purple sandpiper, an Eider Duck and Puffins. Each illustration was hand-painted in watercolour with pen detailing and then name labels were handwritten in a loose, calligraphic style.

Sustainability is important to me and I source all of my cards from an ethical and environmentally-responsible, UK-based company. These cards are printed in the UK on sustainably-sourced card with a recycled kraft envelope. I don’t use any plastic in my packaging and there’s always a little extra something in your order as a thank you for supporting my small business.

A percentage of my profits goes to support a number of local charities that look after our built and natural environment here in North Northumberland.

Practical Information

Each card measures 150mm x 150mm / 15cm x 15cm, and comes with a Kraft recycled brown envelope.

The pack of cards is wrapped in tissue paper and then packaged in a 100% recycled plastic mailing bag, which features an extra adhesive strip so that you can use it for sending something, too! All papers, packaging and stickers are recyclable and/or made from recycled materials.
