Original artwork of a baby blue tit peeking out from the entrance to a nesting box, whilst the adult perches beside it. In coloured pencil on smooth hot pressed paper.
I use Derwent Procolour pencils, a wax-based coloured pencil made in the UK with very good lightfastness (meaning that the colours won't fade under museum conditions). Procolour pencils contain no animal derived materials or ingredients.
This artwork was created on Bockingford Watercolour Paper, which is made in England on a traditional cylinder mould machine at St Cuthbert's Mill in Somerset. The paper is made using pure materials to archival standards.
