This 20x20cm square print features pen-and-ink illustrations of the Old Bridge in Berwick-upon-Tweed, which celebrates its 400th birthday in 2024. The commemorative design includes the date that work on building the bridge began, as well as the 400th celebration date of 2024; and a rose and thistle enclosed within a crown - recognising the tale of the bridge being built at the behest of James VI of Scotland who was terrified at having to cross a rather rickety wooden bridge over the Tweed at Berwick on his way to London to be crowned as James I of England.
