A Year in British Birdlife | 2026 Calendar Tea Towel/Wall Hanging | Illustrated Birds and their Habits

My 2026 calendar tea towel is here – and this year’s theme is A Year in British Birdlife.

Inspired by the birds we see here in the British Isles throughout the seasons, as well as some of their habits, I’ve hand-drawn and painted each illustration in ink and watercolour before bringing them all together into this functional, decorative calendar.

Each season features a handful of my favourite bird-related sightings:

• Winter: Ivy berries, a Fieldfare, a Robin and a Blue Tit on a bird feeder

• Spring: A Chiffchaff, a Blackbird's nest, some nesting materials and a duckling

• Summer: Swallows, a Song Thrush and a Great Tit taking a bath

• Autumn: Berries, Geese, and a Jay
