Green Sketch Club sessions

Join me, Ali, for a series of relaxing outdoor sketching workshops set in the beautiful landscapes of North Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. These 2-hour sessions are designed for those who have joined one of my Introduction to Green Sketching workshops (or who already do a bit of sketching, drawing or painting) and would like to build on their creative hobby with a group of like-minded people.

Each workshop has its own theme, inspired by the changing seasons and the natural beauty around us β€” from the colourful leaves of autumn, to the stark shapes of winter trees, the blooms of summer gardens, or our rugged coastline.

We’ll begin with gentle warm-up exercises and then I’ll guide you through a couple of tutorials related to our theme. The rest of the time is yours to sketch freely, with my guidance and feedback whenever you’d like it. At the end, we’ll gather for a relaxed β€œthrow down” to share favourite sketches (only if you’d like to).

Bring your own sketchbook and materials β€” though I’ll also have a variety of art supplies on hand if you’d like to experiment.

Workshops are Β£25 per person. Spaces are limited so booking is essential.
