History and heritage

With a BA in History and an MA in History of Art, I am particularly interested in how visual storytelling can illuminate not only major historical events, but the human experiences that sit behind them: the textures of daily life, and the built environments people inhabited. I’m also endlessly inspired by our local heritage here in the North East - our built environment, as well as traditions, folklore and the people and events that have marked the region.
