Christmas Markets

I’ll be at two big Christmas markets in North Northumberland this year with a range of my eco-friendly art prints and gifts, as well as Christmas Cards and gift wrap.

The Ford & Etal Christmas market

Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th November 2026

The hugely popular Ford & Etal Christmas Market has stalls in Ford, Etal and Heatherslaw, with entertainment, activities and decorations in four hubs so you can make a merry day of it. Stalls will also be found in Ford Castle, a venue normally closed to the public. Everything is spread out to avoid a crush with lots of lovely things to do everywhere you go and there's even a Vintage Bus to help you get between venues, as well as the Heatherslaw Light Railway.

Visitors can enjoy browsing more than 70 stalls selling delicious food and drink, cakes and sweet treats, local crafts, gifts, pottery, presents for your pets, confectionary and much, much more. Outside stalls will tempt you with delicious things to eat and drink.

The local shops and cafes will be open. In addition, there will be all kinds of festive entertainment including a Christmas Tree Trail.

Paxton House Christmas Cracker

Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th December 2026

The annual Christmas Cracker shopping extravaganza event during the first weekend of December is a must-visit!

Soak up the atmosphere of the lovely Georgian manor with live music, magical Christmas trees, roaring fires and hot turkey rolls! More than 50 local makers and crafters will be selling a range of lovely goods to suit all budgets. Tickets available via Paxton House.
